Wild bees are fascinating and above all useful insects, which unfortunately in many places have a hard time without our help and are threatened in their very existence. Fortunately, there are many ways to create a bee-friendly environment and support the little flying helpers. After all, they are responsible for pollinating the flowers and thus ensure that we can enjoy fruits such as cherries or apples, but also different types of vegetables such as cucumbers or pumpkins.
The Expeditiw Nature Bee Hotel provides shelter for numerous wild bee species, serves as nesting and wintering aid and thus makes an enormous contribution to the protection of species. Various wild bee species feel at home in the bee-friendly insect hotel. A particularly high-quality solid wood material was used for processing. The drill holes are drilled into the longitudinal timber, preventing cracks and splinters and significantly reducing the risk of injury to future residents.
The individual holes are custom-made and correspond exactly to the needs of the wild bees in diameter and length. Because there is a wide variety of different diameters for the tubes, the most diverse species of wild bees can use the hotel - little explorers then have the opportunity to observe all kinds of wild bees in their natural environment from March to autumn. And even up close, because the small insects do not attack to defend their offspring.

In addition to the pine and bamboo bee hotel, a booklet is included (in German) that summarizes exciting information on the subject of wild bees, bee hotels and bee protection in a child-friendly way. The bee-friendly insect hotel is perfect as an observation and learning opportunity at home or in kindergartens and schools. In this way, children learn to develop environmental awareness and take responsibility for small living creatures. They actively help keep the natural cycle alive, developing a better understanding of conservation and species protection.
The bee hotel should be installed in a place that is as sunny as possible, protected from rain and wind. Places where there are plenty of native nectar plants for the bees are also helpful. Once a perfect location is found, the hotel can remain there for years without having to clean or replace the pipes.
